Celebration Of Life


Sometimes I am invited to capture a goodbye. The kind that splits your heart open…

because it isn’t just a session. It’s someone’s whole world wrapped up in one last moment.

These Celebration of Life sessions are always offered at no cost. I believe no family should ever have to choose between grieving and preserving their memories. In moments like these, finances should never be the reason someone doesn’t get to say goodbye the way they need to. Everyone deserves the chance to hold onto something beautiful when the silence feels too loud. I don’t share these sessions often. And when I do, it is always with permission and great care — usually a quiet, candid moment. Not because they aren’t some of the most meaningful work I will ever do… but because they are sacred. Grief is raw. Love is raw. These moments belong to the families walking through the unimaginable. But sometimes, a single image gently says what words never could that love doesn’t leave. Not really. It stays in the kisses.

In the tears. In the goodbye that feels impossible. It lives in the bond that even death cannot touch. Being trusted with these moments is truly one of the highest honors of my life. I approach them with tenderness, reverence, and deep respect for the love in the room.
