Hi, I’m Michaela.

I’m a family, wedding and lifestyle photographer serving in Western New York, and Greenwood South Carolina! I travel back and forth to Buffalo and South Carolina. I am a mom, and a lifelong creator at heart. Photography became more than just a hobby for me when I had my kids because suddenly I wanted to freeze time. The messy, beautiful, fleeting moments that pass far too quickly when you’re in the middle of them.

I’ve always loved creating whether that was crafting, storytelling, or finding ways to turn everyday moments into something meaningful. Picking up my camera felt natural, and photographing families the way I photograph my own kids just made sense.

My sessions are relaxed, playful, and very real. I’m a little corny, I laugh easily, and I will absolutely do whatever it takes to get genuine smiles whether that means being silly, making weird noises, or letting moments unfold exactly as they are. I don’t expect kids to sit still or smile on command. I expect them to be kids.

Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me chasing sunsets, swimming with my kids, and soaking up the simple moments that remind me why these photos matter so much in the first place. Those are the moments I want to give back to you images that feel warm, honest, and full of life.
